Mumbai- India, 26 June 2025: Amazon’s free streaming service, Amazon MX Player’s latest series, Gamerlog, is earning widespread praise for its authentic portrayal of the competitive gaming world, layered friendships, and coming-of-age journeys. Set in Mumbai, Gamerlog follows Raghu, a gaming prodigy who joins a group of passionate underdogs determined to become the best esports team in the country. I thought it was all joystick-based, and I didn’t realise how big PC gaming was or how collaborative it could be. I didn’t even know there were professional teams! I learned so much on this project. The boys on set play regularly, and they were sweet enough to take me to arcades and gaming cafes. They introduced me to Counter-Strike and taught me the controls. It flipped my whole perspective. And now, I get it — the rush, the community, the stakes.”
