Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been a historic all-time blockbuster and continues to make waves, a year after its release. The film that released in January 2023, set the cash registers ringing, cementing itself as the highest grossing Hindi film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema then. It also became the highest grossing film of YRF’s Spy Universe that has a 100 percent hit record!
Pathaan has now been nominated at the prestigious Vulture Annual Stunt Awards. The international award, hosted by media organisation Vulture, was started in 2023, to honour and recognize the excellence in stunt work done by the individuals.
Pathaan’s iconic climax sequence featuring the jet-pack fight scene between SRK and John, has bagged a nomination under the Best Aerial Stunt category.
Pathaan has also been nominated for Best Overall Action Film, alongside Hollywood biggies like Tom Cruise starrer Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part-1, Keanu Reeve’s John Wick 4, Vin Diesel’s Fast X amongst others.
Starring the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra’s YRF spy universe.
