In a recent interview close to International Women’s Day, Sonakshi Sinha shared insights into the unique camaraderie among the leading ladies of the much-anticipated show, Heermandi. Alongside Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal, Sonakshi expressed how the entire set was dominated by an all-women crew, creating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Sonakshi revealed, “It was just way smoother as opposed to what people would think or you know, by what they’ve been told – women don’t get along. I think here, we’re just helping each other up, and being there for each other, being co actors to each other, supporting each other, and it was the best kind of environment being on a set like that and the kind of women that are in this show, they’re all wonderful actors – you only learn from them, you only grow with them so it was a beautiful experience actually.”
This comment coming from a Bollywood leading lady uplifts and encourages the women supporting women movement.
Sonakshi, who recently unveiled her character poster as ‘Fareedan,’ on Instagram has received immense love and admiration for her striking and stunning character look. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Heeramandi’ on Netflix.
