Mumbai, August 7, 2025: Amazon MX Player’s Hunter Season 2 raises the stakes for Vikram Sinha’s (Suniel Shetty), as the suspended special officer finds himself in the middle of a dangerous chase stretching from the underbelly of Mumbai to the shadowy circuits of Thailand. Jackie Shroff returns as the menacing Salesman, while Anusha Dandekar makes her debut in the franchise as the Guide — a sharp and fearless ally who becomes a key part of Vikram’s journey. Reflecting on her first reaction to the role, Anusha shared, “My first reaction was pure excitement. I knew playing someone who stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Vikram meant I had to match Suniel Shetty’s presence on screen. That’s no small task — but it pushed me, and I loved every bit of it. It felt good proving that a girl can bring just as much fearlessness, fire, and fight to the table.”
Asked whether she’d want a spin-off for the Guide, she added:“Absolutely. She’s lived through her own share of darkness and come out stronger — and I imagine her fighting to make sure no other woman has to go through what she did. She’d show up, speak up, and save the day if she had to. She wouldn’t just save the boys — she’d save whoever needed her. That’s the part I love about her.”
