Based on the life of freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay, the makers of Bagha Jatin unveiled the teaser of the film recently. The teaser showcases the heroic journey of the lion-hearted man fighting through revolutionary activities for India’s independence and freedom, the man who also single-handedly killed a Bengal tiger in his native village in 1906 for the safety of his people.
The role of Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay will be headlined by actor Dev Adhikari and the role of his wife will be headlined by Sreeja Dutta. The teaser is full of intense action, emotions and patriotism. Bagha Jatin also stars Sudipta Chakraborty, Shoaib Kabeer, Rohaan Bhattacharjee, and many more prominent faces in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Arun Roy, produced by Gurupada Adhikari and Dev Adhikari the film will be dubbed in Hindi and will release in theatres across India on 20th October 2023.
