MUMBAI, 15th (Dec.) : All India Printing Ink Manufacturers Association for newspaper and other printing sector has announced that the exhibition and trade fair ‘Asia Coat Ink’ will be held on November 17, 18, 19, 2022 at Nesco Mumbai Exhibition Centre. This announcement was made in a press conference organized by the organization AIPIMA. AIPIMA President Shri Raghavan Sridhara, Vice President Raghav Rao, Asia Coat Inc Show Secretary Ravindra Gandhi were present.
On this occasion many aspects between printing business and ink industry were highlighted.

Commenting on the occasion, Raghavan Sridhara said, “Incidentally, printing ink manufacturers across the world are currently eyeing India for raw material and ink supply. Because of geopolitical tensions and unstable economic conditions in Europe, it is imperative for the world to find an effective and reliable alternative to China. In particular, efforts are being made to support investment in laboratory equipment and highly trained manpower to maintain product quality. Until the late 1990s, there was only one multinational ink manufacturing company in India, but in the last 25 years, several European, Japanese and American printing ink and coating manufacturers have entered India. About 300 ink manufacturers are spread across India with the highest concentration in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi (NCR), Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. 1 lakh 25 thousand employment by ink industry is estimated. The entire printing industry in the country employs about 15 crore people, and India can become the world’s leading center for printing ink production if the quality of printing ink is checked to meet international standards, including for newspapers, magazines, food printing. Facilities are available.
