Mulund, Mumbai, September 29th, 2023: On the occasion of World Heart Day, Fortis Hospital Mulund launched the ‘Mumbai Ki Dhadkan’ campaign. This initiative is being implemented with the objective of encouraging individuals to adopt preventive measures and undergo routine heart health screenings to mitigate the risk of developing any significant health issues.
As part of the campaign the Fortis Hospital Mulund provided ‘Dil Ka Report Card’, comprising a free health check-up, along with a heart shaped balloon to motorists, riders, cyclists, and pedestrians at various traffic signals of the city. The aim of the initiative was to enable the residents of Mumbai to monitor their health and maintain a state of cardiovascular well-being. Over 5000 Dil Ka Report Cards were also shared with the patients, their caregivers, and visitors at the OPDs at Fortis Hospital, Mulund & Kalyan, and Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi.
With the ‘Dil Ka Report Card’ an individual can visit Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Fortis Hospital Kalyan, and Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi between Oct 3rd – Oct 13th, to avail free health check-up comprising of blood cholesterol, blood sugar, BP & BMI.
The report cards were distributed at five key traffic junctions of the city:
• Bhandup Pumping Station – Eastern Express Highway
• Thane-Mulund Toll Naka – Eastern express highway (entering Thane)
• Mulund Check Naka – Entering Thane from LBS Marg
• Airoli Toll Naka – Entering from Mulund/ Thane
• Sonapur Signal – near Fortis Hospital Mulund
Speaking about the initiative, Dr S. Narayani, Business Head, Fortis Hospitals Maharashtra, said, “Heart diseases are one of the leading causes of death in India and across the world.
