Mumbai, January 31, 2019:Looking at India’s growing impact on global economic & firm determination to achieve UN-SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Mumbai based “International Institute for CSR Foundation (IICSR)” is organising thought-provoking event “International Responsible Investors Summit (IRIN 2020)” on 7th Feb 2020 at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

“As, we all know that in the present time, Sustainable Development is a global challenge being faced by Corporates, Governments& Civil Societies across the world. To address them sincerely & collectively, every industry, business houses has to take stern measures along with their business plans and strategies. It is time that Financial industry gives more impetus on Non-financial ratings such as SDG Ratings while making investments in India” said Harsha Mukherjee, MD and CEO of IICSR.

The basic purpose of this Conference is to clearly define the role of future financial markets for Sustainable economy and how our investments and business models are going to shape our planet, said Harsha.

Minister for Entrepreneurship & Skill Development, Govt. of Maharashtra Shri. Nawab Malik will inaugurate this prestigious conference as Chief Guest along with Uttam Bagri, Chairman – Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers’ Forum (BBF) who said “It is time that listed companies consider SDG Ratings and adhering to ESG too. The stock market should consider on the reports beyond financials to ensure sustainable growth of India Inc.”

The inaugural session would be graced by Mr. Ashish Vaid, President Chamber of Commerce (IMC) and the MD from Indo French Chamber of Commerce (IFCCI).

Inaugural session will be followed by other interesting and interactive sessions to address core issues of “Socially Responsible investments, its products and services funds”, “Role of Stock Exchanges” and their potential impacts with sustainability metrics, frameworks and parameters of ESG & SDGs, which will be addressed by our policy makers, Sr. Govt. officials, Business & Civil Society leaders with interactive Questions & Answers sessions.
