Keka conducts India’s largest virtual HR conference

Mumbai, 18th December 2023: Keka recently concluded its two-day event, HR Katalyst 2.0, India’s largest virtual HR summit, offering a profound intellectual experience with industry leaders delving into insightful discussions on the most pressing HR topics. The summit, held in collaboration with partners Qlearsite, Nova Benefits, and Springworks, brought together over 50 speakers to share their expertise on 17 diverse topics.

With 23,000 registrations, 8000+ professionals from a diverse range of 10 countries joined the webinars. Each attendee spent an average of 3.5 hours consuming the video content of 20+ sessions.

The summit kicked off with Harjeet Khanduja, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Reliance, delivering a compelling keynote address titled “Behind The Smile: The Silent Cost of Faking Emotions at Work,” shedding light on the often-overlooked aspect of workplace emotions. The event’s second half witnessed Josephine Groom, Chief Operating Officer of Qlearsite, leading a thought-provoking panel discussion on “The Essentials Of Building an HR Team.” The day concluded with Kshitiz Sachan, Process Coach – Performance Management at Keka HR, conducting an interactive workshop titled “Goal Setting Hacks,” providing practical tips for effective goal-setting strategies in HR management.

Day 2 of the summit started with a keynote panel discussion titled “How HR Heads can become CEOs,” featuring Saransh Garg, CEO & Founder of Nova Benefits, Sumanth BS, Co-CEO of SIXT Research and Development, India and Dr Nishat Afzal, Communications Manager of Keka HR. The discussion explored the journey from HR leadership to becoming a CEO, offering valuable insights for HR professionals aspiring to take on executive roles.

Among the highlights was the engaging panel discussion on “Employee Autonomy vs. Micromanagement,” featuring Mohammed Sufiyan Sait, Director of People Success and Community at Toplyne. Participants gained valuable insights into striking the right balance between autonomy and micromanagement in the workplace. A Fireside Chat hosted by Kartik Mandaville, CEO of Springworks, explored “Exit Interviews, Offboarding, and Retention Strategies,” offering a unique perspective by learning from those who choose to leave an organization.

The magnum opus event ended with Ester Martinez, the CEO of People Matters, delivering the closing note. HR Katalyst 2.0 surpassed expectations with its stellar lineup of speakers, diverse topics, and interactive sessions. Attendees were treated to a wealth of knowledge and left inspired by the innovative solutions and strategies shared by industry trailblazers.
