Orchids The International School students explore creativity at the Children’s Art Fest

Mumbai, 10.02.2023: Orchids The International School (OIS) students recently got the opportunity to exhibit their creativity at the Children’s Art Fest held at CIDCO exhibition center, Vashi. Students from Grade 3 to 8 from several branches of OIS in Mumbai participated in the fest. Nearly 5000 students and parents gathered during the two-day event.

The event was organized with an intention to encourage the artistic side of the children and also for parents to spend time together with their kids in a creative way. Students not only got a venue to showcase their art work but also got to exhibit their talents in various activities such as musical recital, theater , DIY workshops, painting, etc. They displayed amazing moves in the well-choreographed dance performance that brought out some sensitive social topics across mental health in street plays. They also displayed a clear conceptual understanding of various sub-domains of art forms and applied knowledge of stage and props.

Speaking about the success of the event, Dr. Madhuri Sagale, VP Academics at Orchids The International School said, “At OIS, we believe that arts plays an integral role in developing and showing students’ creative side. We encourage them to explore their artistic inclination through several art-based programs and curriculum activities throughout the year. Through this event, we also wanted parents to experience this joy of joining with their child. This would help in boosting their creativity and motivating children to pursue their passion while they excel in other aspects of life. ”
