PRPL Initiative Champions Plastic Recycling Through Cricket

Mumbai, 2nd February 2025 – Supreme Petrochem Ltd, in collaboration with the Plastoconomy Foundation, successfully organized the PRPL (Plastic Recycling & Premier League) initiative, bringing together over 100 schools to promote plastic waste recycling.

As part of this initiative, participating schools collected and donated plastic waste, with a special focus on thermocol recycling. The top 16 schools that contributed the highest amount of thermocol waste earned a place in a five-day cricket tournament, held from 27th January to 31st January 2025.

🏆 Rizvi Springfield School emerged as the tournament champion, securing victory by 28 runs.

The core objective of PRPL is to educate and inspire young minds about the importance of plastic waste reduction and thermocol recycling. By integrating sustainability with sports, the initiative aims to create lasting awareness and encourage eco-friendly practices among the youth.

Supreme Petrochem Ltd and the Plastoconomy Foundation remain committed to promoting a plastic waste-free lifestyle and will continue to drive initiatives that support environmental sustainability
