Mumbai: 17th December 2023: The festive and holiday season is here, and it’s the time when the nip in the air means your skin needs some extra TLC. It’s also a time for skincare fans to rejoice, for this would be music to your ears. To give you a pampering experience with products that nourish and protect your skin, The Body Shop, a Britain-based international ethical beauty brand, has announced its annual Limited Edition Christmas Body Care Collection.

The Body Shop’s 2023 Christmas Collection is sure to ensure your skin is hydrated, nourished with Limited Edition collection including two ranges – the Cherries & Cheer and the Pears and Share, both of which are vegan-certified. The products are now available in recyclable packaging, aligning with The Body Shop’s commitment to protecting the planet and life on it. Here’s more on what the two collections include.

Cherries & Cheer: Uplifting your holiday spirits

Containing a shower gel, body butter, body oil, hand balm, lip balm, and a body mist, The Body Shop’s Cherries & Cheer collection allows you to cocoon yourself in the pleasant fragrance of warm and fruity cherries. The fragrance features top notes of lively cherry, sweet almond milk, and peony, culminating in a delectable blend that is perfectly mellowed by base notes of vanilla and musk.

Further, for the first time, The Body Shop has introduced two captivating additions to its Cherries & Cheer collection – the Nourishing Body & Massage Oil and the Body & Space Mist. The Nourishing Body & Massage Oil pampers your skin, providing a soothing and aromatic experience. The Body & Space Mist, on the other hand, is a multipurpose scent spray that can be used as a fragrance on the go or to create a festive ambience in your home.

Price range of the set: INR 4,275

Pears & Share Embrace the Festive Comfort

The Body Shop’s limited edition Pears & Share collection contains a body scrub, the brand’s iconic body yoghurt and body butter, hand cream, lip scrub, and a fragrance mist, all of which will provide head-to-toe TLC. Offering a comforting and cosy world of juicy pears, the goodies will urge you to indulge in self-care this holiday season. The Pears & Share fragrance mist, one of the highlights of the collection, is a vibrant scent that combines pear extract with top notes of sloe berries, peony, and strawberry sorbet, while musk and tonka bean notes create a sensual warmth. It’s a fragrance that evokes the invigorating feeling of a crisp winter’s walk.

Price range of the set: INR 6,120

As a changemaking beauty brand, The Body Shop remains dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. The Cherries & Cheer and Pears & Share collections provide an additional opportunity for customers to contribute to positive change this holiday season. With the exception of the Fragrance Mist and the Body & Space Mist, each product included in these limited-edition sets is enriched with ingredients sourced through The Body Shop’s Community Fair Trade (CFT) program.

The CFT program helps one of the brand’s CFT partners, Get Paper Industry, to facilitate their Send our Daughters to School campaign, enabling hundreds of girls from underprivileged families in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, to attend school. Apart from this, the program also helps over 2000 marginalised waste collectors in India with vital financial stability. Finally, it assists the Tungteiya Women’s Association, which helps their wider community of 49,000 people living in rural areas of northern Ghana to access education, healthcare and water sanitation facilities.

Aside from the aforementioned collections, The Body Shop has an extensive collection of skincare, hair care, and fragrance mists handpicked to provide the best possible care for you.
