Vietjet Links Adelaide and Perth to Vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, Opening Exciting Opportunities for Travelers

(Mumbai, 24th November 2023) – Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading new-age carrier, launched its inaugural flight yesterday from Adelaide to Ho Chi Minh City, marking the first-ever Vietnamese carrier to operate flights between Vietnam and South Australia. This historic milestone signifies the commencement of five weekly return flights between the two cities. The new service was inaugurated following November 21’s ceremony, which welcomed Vietjet’s first non-stop flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Perth, featuring a similar frequency.

This significant expansion into Adelaide and Perth will see Vietjet’s weekly flights to Australia surge to 58 a week, a remarkable feat achieved in less than a year since its entry into the Australian market in April 2023. Vietjet currently serves five key Australian cities, namely Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

The airline also offers the most flights on the largest network connecting India with Vietnam. It operates a total of 35 weekly round-trip flights, establishing a direct connection between five key Indian cities – New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad., Kochi, and Tiruchirappalli – and the Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The airline is running its exclusive Black Friday offer where travellers can secure all-in one-way tickets from India to Vietnam from just INR 5,555*. This promotion runs from November 22 to November 28, with the travel period for these discounted tickets extending from January 1 to October 31, 2024. In addition to the attractive ticket prices, travelers booking international flights will also receive an e-voucher worth VND 200,000 (approx. INR 686) by visiting the website: https://evoucher.vietjetair.com/.  Furthermore, Vietjet is extending a generous 30% discount on duty-free shopping for passengers.

Vietjet has been operating for over a decade with around 450 flights daily across 125 routes connecting Vietnam with other countries across Asia and Australia. The airline’s international network includes destinations in India, Australia, Northeast Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China), Southeast Asia and Kazakhstan.
