Walkaroo becomes the Official Title Partner for the 10th Edition of Coimbatore Marathon*

August 2022: Walkaroo International Pvt. Ltd, India’s No 1 PU footwear manufacturer, has partnered with The Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF) for the 10th edition of the Coimbatore Marathon to be held on December 11,2022.

The event, themed ‘Odipolaama’, is expected to attract more than 16,000 participants. The event comprises a half marathon (21.1 km) and a 10 km run and 5 km run/walk. Winners can bag prize money worth ₹ 2.7 lakh.

Commenting on this collaboration, V K C Noushad , Managing Director, Walkaroo International Pvt.Ltd said, “We are delighted to join hands with the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation for the 10th edition of the Coimbatore Marathon. It is a great opportunity for Walkaroo to actively be part of a compassionate work to support the needy.

This is in line with Walkaroo’s brand proposition “be restless”, which urges people to not to settle for the ordinary but believe in moving beyond. The point-of -view of “Feet feel restless when they are rested” is that we are on a mission to make every young feet run a distance of twenty.

The Coimbatore Cancer Foundation, in association with the Coimbatore Runners, has been organizing this Marathon for 10 years. The entire proceeds go towards the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation will thereby influence the lives of hundreds of cancer survivors and their families.

The Walkaroo Coimbatore Marathon registration is now open. The participants can visit www.coimbatoremarathon.com to complete the registration formalities.
