Zuno Redefines Freedom as the Joy of Living Worry-Free in its Independence Day campaign

Mumbai, 20th August 2025: This Independence Day, we are flipping the script! Zuno General Insurance, a new-age digital insurer committed to making insurance easy, friendly and innovative, is redefining freedom, not only as a historical milestone, but as a feeling earned each day, getting freedom from everyday anxiety, through peace and protection.

The campaign spotlights the everyday relief we seek, it’s not loud, it’s quiet, personal, and deeply meaningful, that reframes traditional notions with modern relevance. Let’s be honest – freedom now means freedom from overthinking, second-guessing, and the endless loop of adulting anxiety. That’s where Zuno steps in. We make insurance easy, breezy and surely. So, you can get on with your life, minus the mental stress.

To bring this idea to life, Zuno General Insurance and its creative agency BC Web Wise partnered with Helly Shah, for crafting a standout Independence Day campaign. The campaign is aimed to help people shrug off the small worries of adulting, those nagging “what ifs” that clutter life. Its insight revealed that while the word freedom may inspire, what people crave now is relief from the everyday stress cluttering their minds.

Ketan Mankikar, Marketing Head at Zuno General Insurance, said, “Freedom isn’t just about the past. It’s about how you feel right now. When you know life’s curveballs are covered, that’s when you feel truly independent. Zuno focuses on a similar belief that insurance should be easy, friendly, and transparent and provide protection when you require it most.”

That’s the point. Real independence isn’t loud or dramatic. It’s that quiet confidence that lets you live fully, without fear.

With this campaign, Zuno GI and BC Web Wise not only honours Independence Day, but also strengthens Zuno’s emotional connection with a young audience through branding that’s both functional and inspiring.

Anuja Bharadwaj, Associate Creative Director at BC Web Wise, added, “With this campaign, we wanted to capture Independence Day in a tone that resonates with the way people experience freedom today. Helly’s spoken word style gave us a warm, relatable way to show that protection and peace of mind are as essential as any other form of independence.”

The film ends with a simple truth, in Helly’s words: “This is the freedom we actually need. The kind Zuno makes possible — easy, breezy, surely.”
