ADAPT Creates the rhythms of Inclusion

ADAPTs celebrated inclusion with the performance by the legendry super star Usha Uthup and the shinning stars of ADAPT’ in an enchanting evening on Thursday, the 20th of March, 2025, at the Nehru Centre auditorium at 6.30 pm. The show enthralled, entertained and spread the message of Inclusion.

ADAPT (formerly known as The Spastic Society of India) pioneered by Padmashree Dr. Mithu Alur, Founder President, has been in the service of the nation since 1972. ADAPT works for persons with disability and covers areas of Education, Therapy and Skills Development. Right from the beginning, ADAPT has endeavored to create a civil society movement built on the bedrock of social justice and human rights based on our models of transdisciplinary intervention, we have clearly demonstrated that people with disability have potential and ability.

Our Annual Show which is our fund raising venture is particularly crucial to support this vision of Inclusion. The funds raised will directly support our services to the children and adults with disability and our upcoming University project which is a macro step towards Inclusion of the disabled.
