Anu is a seasoned professional with over 21 years of expertise in the financial services industry, where she
has played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the Corporate Banking franchise. Currently, she holds
the position of heading the Corporate and Investment Bank for Conglomerates at Kotak Mahindra,
overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes ECM, M&A, Lending, Transaction Banking, Foreign Exchange,
and DCM across India.
As a distinguished member of the Kotak Leadership Team (KLT), Anu contributes to the strategic direction
and overall success of the organization. Her journey in the financial sector began at Citibank, India, where
she commenced as a Management Trainee and spent 12 years specializing in relationship and risk
management roles within Corporate Banking Coverage.
Anu’s academic background includes an MBA in Finance from JBIMS and a BCom in Economics and
Commerce from Panjab University. Her commitment to excellence in finance has been recognized by the
Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI), which honored her as one of India’s Top
100 “Women in Finance” in 2019. Anu was also acknowledged as one of the ‘100 Mindful Women’ in India
by Shenomics in 2018.
