Pune, September 2025 – Frida Art House at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune is currently presenting ‘Between Yesterday and Tomorrow: The Many Lives of Objects’, a landmark exhibition running from 8th to 30th September 2025 that brings more than 85 rare works into the public eye for the very first time. Curated by Satyajit Dave, the exhibition spans over three centuries of India’s cultural history, uniting devotional icons, domestic treasures, and modern masterpieces that have, until now, remained in private collections.
Frida Art House, a pioneering art gallery situated in the heart of Pune, is dedicated to cultivating an ecosystem where art thrives connecting talented artists with discerning buyers and collectors. The exhibition also features Ravi Varma oleographs once adorning family puja rooms, European porcelains from colonial-era salons, vibrant Bollywood posters, and rarely seen canvases by M. F. Husain. Each piece carries with it the memory of a home from chandeliers that once lit princely halls to vases displayed in drawing rooms creating a powerful narrative of how art is lived with, cherished, and passed down as heirlooms.
