Mumbai, 19.12.2022: Shivaay Dhule, a 4-year-old student from Orchids The International School – Mulund, recently made a new world record for making a mosaic art with 2000 Rubik’s cubes. The young boy was registered as the youngest cuber by the Noble Book of World Records for making mosaic art of Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
Shivaay achieved this feat while participating in an event titled ‘Pixel Challenge 2.0’ event. The Guest of Honour for the event, Mr. Chinmay Prabhu, felicitated Shivaay for being the youngest cuber of the day and for solving 8 cubes in under 12 minutes. Mr. Prabhu is a 4 times record holder in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Rubik’s Cube. Speaking on her student’s achievement, Sunayana Awasthi, Principal, Orchids The International School – Mulund, said, “We are extremely proud of Shivaay to have achieved this feat at a young age. He is an exceptionally bright student whose interest and prowess in the Rubik’s cube are commendable. Our main focus is to encourage our students to pursue their passion and excel in it. As it helps build better cognitive functioning and boosts confidence.”
Shivaay has been passionate about solving Rubik’s cube since the age of 4. Currently, he can solve 5 Rubik’s cube-like Pyraminx, 2×2, 3×3, Mirror, and Skewb Rubik’s cubes as well. He plans to continue his passion for making mosaic art out of Rubik’s cubes.
